ATHY NGAI

Athy is the founder of The Mind Project. She received her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the United Kingdom. She then continued her study at the University of Hong Kong and obtained a postgraduate diploma in Psychological Medicine. Athy has practised professional psychological services at public hospitals and clinics, NGOs as well as the private sector.  

 

Athy provides psychological assessments and psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. Having extensive content knowledge and experience in clinical psychology, child psychology and mental health wellbeing, Athy has a resolute commitment to promote mental health awareness and to make psychological and SEN services more accessible. She has been interviewed by various media, including a local newspaper and tv programme. She was also a guest columnist of a family and parenting magazine.

LEUNG CHUNG MING

Dr. Leung Chung Ming is a Registered Clinical Psychologists of the Division of Clinical Psychology of Hong Kong Psychological Society (DCP, HKPS), who provides services including psychological assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults. . She is also the acting Vice Chairperson of DCP, HKPS.

Dr. Leung works as a Clinical Psychologist at Queen Mary Hospital and Tsan Yuk Hospital. She has rich clinical experiences, specializing in working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental difficulties, psychological problems and special educational needs.

Dr. Leung is the Honorary Clinical Supervisor at the Departments of Psychology, the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also has abundant experience in public education and media, including interviews by various newspapers, TV and radio programmes.

SAM CHONG

Sam has experience working with children from pre-school to secondary school. He believes it is very important to willingly play with children and to connect with them during therapy sessions. Play, which is an important component in children's learning, is the primary focus in his therapy. Additionally, family involvement and participation is an inevitable component in children's progress. Being able to support family members is something that he treasures and is happy to do.

Crystal is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA) who graduated from the United States and has over six years working in the ABA field. She is also a certified supervisor who provides supervision for those who are pursuing BCaBAs and BCBAs. Furthermore, she is one of the fewest behavioral therapists in Hong Kong who has experience in applying precision teaching in her teaching method, a system of teaching that utilises exact measurement and data to guide instruction and curricula choice.

 

Crystal has experience in teaching playgroups and leading Expressive Arts Therapy, in which she loves adding creative methods in the individual learning plans. She believes that every child is unique, and they can reach their full potential with the use of the right support.

QUEENIE NG

Queenie completed her Psychology undergraduate degree at University of Manitoba and has gained teaching experiences with special education needs children in both Canada and Hong Kong. She believes each child is unique and should have equal opportunities to learn and grow regardless of their abilities. She adjusts teaching method according to each child's abilities and educational needs. She has received ABA training and recognized the effectiveness of ABA towards autistic kids. She is currently pursuing Master of ABA in order to further advance her ABA skills, hoping to discover more possibilities for every child."

ANGEL TONG

Angel graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Psychology. She has been working with children with special needs since then. Patience and calmness are the characteristics that associated with Angel. Angel appreciates that every child has a different pace in learning and development, and each one of them is a unique individual that shines in a different way. She leads several group classes at TMP and receives ongoing ABA training.

Ms. Yan Yan is a qualified kindergarten teacher with over 6 years teaching experience. She is a specialist in helping children with special education needs(SEN) to adjust better in mainstream school. Ms. Yan Yan is good at designing individual learning plans for different children through observing and analyzing their learning needs and strengths. Ms. Yan Yan values every student and strives to build a happy and safe learning environment.
